Children Mental Services

Babies and Beyond

A weekly peer support program for teen parents under the age of 21.  The program offers a warm, nurturing atmosphere of acceptance, encouragement and respect. Activities include weekly guest speakers, assistance with education and child care, support and referrals to service providers. Lunch is provided. The program offers an opportunity to socialize, share, gather information, connect with resources and feel supported.

Babies and Beyond groups are offered in Bancroft, Madoc, Trenton, Belleville and Picton

Daddy and Me

This program is for men and their children, ages 0-6. Whether you are a father, grandfather, uncle, or friend, this program offers space and time for play.  Dinner is included!

Raising your Grandchildren Group

Monthly peer support group for grandparents raising their grandchildren. The group offers support, assistance and resources to help grandparents.

Transition to High School for Students with Asperger Syndrome

The focus of this group is to support grade eight students diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome with transitioning from elementary school to high school. The program addresses social skill development and teaches coping and organizational skills that promote success and reduce anxieties.  This program runs 9 weeks and runs from April to June.

Special Needs Parent Support Group

Connect with other families in your community and discuss topics that effect and interest you.  Gain support and insight from local families.

This support Group is for parents/grandparents/caregivers of children with all special needs.

Every second Thursday of the Month 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
